Our Story
Cheol’s began with a simple ambition: to build a cafe we would want to visit every day.
That ambition came from Wayne’s years in hospitality, which shaped his understanding of coffee, food and what it takes to create a place people want to return to. From that experience came a desire to bring all of those things together in one place.
Coming to Australia from Korea also shaped the way Cheol’s came to life. Korean influence naturally finds its way into our food, flavours and ideas, while Perth and the people around us continue to shape how we work and what we create.
But Cheol’s has never been built by one person alone. It’s shaped by the people who bring each day to life, the teams who work across our cafes, the customers who become familiar faces, and the people we meet along the way.
What started as one idea has become a story shared by many people and experiences. And as Cheol’s continues to grow, so does the story.
